Anyone know where I can download the CD-KEY changer for Windows XP.
My friend just bought a computer and his Windows XP didnt come with the Original CD-KEY. I know, Format and install again, but we can´t do it. Anyone know where can i have this CD-key change program??
what do you mean by key changer? the xp edition should come with its own cd key. when you buy a computer there should be a couple pieces of paper that have microsoft keys on it. but i dont know i dont order my computers with microsoft xp cause i have my own. all i ask for are the drivers and stuff.
Your options in order, if one does not work proceed to the next:
1) Call Miscrsoft
2) Buy a new OS
3) anything else would be illegal and thus against the rules of this site for me to recommend, go back to # 2.
Hmm, okay, i´ll try explain...
1) He bought a Dell Notebook
2) So he installed a Windows XP PRO with a False Cd-key (found on internet)
3) Now he found on Dell Notebook Box the Original CD-key
4) He doesn´t want format the notebook, se he want a Cd-key changer for windows XP (I had it once, but I deleted after bought my Original winxp pro)
I have PMed him the solution, it's probably unnecessary to post more.
