You know....i've seen the series a handful of times all the way through...and im left with pretty much the same question you have....
Is it me or did the ending make No sence what so ever? I mean Yeah Robin and Amon come up missing but what REALLY happened to them did they Die or what. Im just confused XD

Of course, there is that mysterious figure at the front door at the very end... This is one of those (common) anime series endings where the TRUE Ending of the story is left to the imaginations of the viewer...
Yesh... I am left guessing the same way @_@ I really would like to know what really happened...
It was a good series ~ I'm thinking like Katsuhito.... *confused*

I watched it again and it made SOME sence. Really good series tho just hard to understand. Reminds me of Lain and now hard it was to understand
Too bad the earlier episodes are not even close to the quality of the episodes later on...

It's just too bad it makes the anime loose a chunk of it's viewers who don't have the time and/or patience to keep watching it...
