Thread: Would you rather read a novel or a manga?

in going say that id much rather read a manga because it put a lot of strain on my eyes and it depicts whats happening alot clearer (at least for me anyway)

Id go for a manga, it has scenery and so much more details to a person's imagination!!!

It depends which manga or novel it is........

I suppose if it was my favorite manga and favorite novel.....well, I cant choose either of them. I wouldnt trade one for the other ^^

I would most likely chose manga over novels because mangas have pretty pictures but as others have listed on this thread, it doesn't really matter as long as the story is good

well i don't read as much as i could but i do enjoy a good novel, but i also enjoy a good manga
so to me is doesn't matter if its a manga or a book, as long as they have a good plot, character, etc.

that's tough, but id have to say novel, only if it a good one though, cuz i like alot of manga and id rather read a manga if the novel choice sucks. i think a novel would be more beneficial in general knowledge, though mangas have more japanese culture and could teach someone about it.
