Xbox 360 custom soundtracks optional

Subsequently a number of commentators pondered the worth of such a feature, arguing that game music is often an integral part of the game experience. Now it seems they have an answer - it's up to the developer to decide.

There goes a HUGE selling point for me, I think that if I wanna blast the hell out of zombies to Rammstein or Slayer, then damn it, I should be able to do that! To hell with ambience!

Sweet. Even though i'm required to hate XBOX by birthright (Nintendo fan), this is one hell of a feature that'll make me consider picking one up.

I hope it won't make game music makers or game creators abandon most of their interest in a good soundtrack.
Having a custom soundtrack is only good in a small number of games.
