Iv never heard of it. Who makes it?

Basically, it's an anime that everyone would find entertaining. My friend introduced it to me to see if we could use it as one of the "approved" animes for our anime club.

I've seen Yakitate! Japan's anime up to episode 32, It's good, I read a good chunk of the manga way back before the anime started. They used a lot of filler from the manga to make full episodes out of it, some of which were actually pretty damn entertaining so it didn't feel like a one page bonus was stretched into a 20 minute crapfest.

To my knowledge Yakitate! Japan is ongoing.. I mean they're using plenty of filler and going at a not very rushed pace. Plus the manga's pretty big and allows plenty of time for interpretation. So time will tell. Just hope that it doesn't get stale.

The Yakitate! Japan manga is awesome. I haven't watched but the first couple episodes of the anime though, but thats because it seems to be following the manga closely. I'll probably start watching it again soon.

I haven't read the manga, but would you say that the anime is very similar to the manga?

Some people prefer manga versions better than anime, due to the fact that sometimes they cut out some parts from the manga while making the anime. I was wondering how the manga is.
