Zatch Bell

So what do you guys think about this one? I've watched a few episodes here and there, it seems really kid oriented, especially with the collectable card game and stuff, but I guess anything is better than Pokemon at this point. heh, anyway...
it's not that bad
using magic spell books and having a magical partner
it was predictable that Zatch Bell would spawn a Trading Card Game

the only thing I hate about Zatch Bell is the intro
that's pretty much it
everything else, I find... bearable
it's better than Pokemon and a hella lot more violent
and also doesn't make that much sense as well
I mean, Ponygon, for example
what is up with that?
and Suzy's little hobby with drawing faces on fruit? Zatch and the fish?
weird show

I like that it's really funny ^^ The animation isn't great, but it's still a wonderfully entertaining series. My only problem with it is that it might be becoming the next pokemon, because it has a card game too, and is coming out with movies a lot like the pokemon ones in japan.

Still, so has yugioh, and that's not so bad, i guess.

i don think its really a kid show, there are some more teenage aspects to it. the show is strange becuase it has some un-origanl plot lines but with some new ideas too.

I think you're right Mijuko, it is fast becoming the next Pokemon. That might not necessarily be all bad though. I don't like to be eliteist, so I think that if it recruits any more anime fans, that's a good thing.

I totally disagree with you about the pokemon thing. This series is more like the video game Disgea, which rocked btw. On top of that the series has a very definate ending, and pokemon could go on forever as far as i can tell. I perfer having a definate ending, because then it is genrally a good ending. I totally recomend this series to every1 who enjoys a fun and crazy anime.

Zatch Bell is far from a child oriented anime. There are actually loads of anime series and manga series that adapt a card game for that series. The show is way more teen oriented, and there's a lot of violence. Not another pokemon.

yeah it is kiddy but dang it gets very powerful later on. Emotions are high later on in the anime. it not pokemon and it funnier you see. dont judge an anime by first episodes. jeez
