By weird do you mean commerical? In that case, I guess I know what you mean, but I think if the game has been done well, then it makes the series even better because you can get more involved with it. And I think the card game was done well.

The anime is cool to me at least

It *does* look kiddish, but from what I've heard, like naruto, it gets more serious as the series progresses.
It gets almost too serious. It has more mood swings than a 13 year old girl! No offense to any 13 year old girls... ^_^ But I still like the show. I like kiddy animes. My eyes get tired from all the blood in other animes.
I like it i think it has a good balance.
