Well anything can happen in this day and age with all this technology, diseases and crazy people. Honestly when you think about it... its pretty scary and as may stupid as it sounds it might just be possible except I doubt the whole eating brains thing. But crazy infected people is a scary and i emphasize SCARY thing to think about... o_O

If it really came down to getting rid of zombies...I'd circle the town with gas tanks, fly over spraying fuel, and light a match.....it'd be like a barbeque

I don't think we should consider zombies, instead we should think infected humans who will turn cannibalistic
