Thread: Anime Online Collaborative Poem

Hello everyone. Beginning the first week of June I would like to have some of the talented poets of our community collaborate on putting together a collaborative AO Poem. This is how it would work:

1. Participants: Those who choose to participate would sign up in advance.
2. Order of Participation: I will select an order of people to participate based on number of credits (more credit means you get to write earlier).
3. How it works: I will start off by selecting a theme for the Poem (for example: Nature) and writing the first line of the Poem (for example: "The frost of the season seemed to shine like a divine glow"). Then, each person who signed up will be able to add the next line to the Poem based on the order of participants that is established.
4. Voting: At the end of the Poem we will post a poll to see "who wrote the best verse" and allow the AnimeOnline community to vote to decide. The winner would get to choose the next collaborative poem theme and write the first line.

I'd like to try this out depending on the number of people that are interested. So, if you are interested in participating, please sign up by sending me a PM with the subject line "Poem Contest Participation." If this is successful we can also try to do the same thing with gfx in the future and have a collaborative signature contest or wallpaper contest, which would allow members to create one specified part of a signature/wallpaper and then pass it on to their fellow member for the next part.
