AO Attack

Dear members:

AO was hacked on Sunday evening and has been down since. Thanks to help from one of the former owners we have been able to somewhat restore the site for now, but it is far from secure and work will be ongoing. The site will likely experience more downtime until it is repaired.

It is unfortunate that a community like this risks being destroyed due to the attack of a skilled hacker. I wish I could plead with that person to leave our little site alone, but it is part of life on the internet I guess.

Please continue to stand by for more information.

Almost had a nervous break down on this side of the earth.

Wondering what was up, and had AO changed there name all the sudden. TAT;

I do have to say that I'm proud of the membership here, in what could have been a prime opportunity to 'get back' at the forum that AO was redirected too, that didn't happen. Had it happened, it would have made a bad situation worse then it had to be.

I'm just glad that AO is back. I love this place! I couldn't stand if it went down, especially like that!

I was extremely tempted to join their forum just to flame the crap out of them. . .

yah im glad too, i havent been very active here, but for me this site is kinda like a home from home.. hehe, ayayay, hope things get back to normal soon

Actually it was because of two skilled hackers apparently. But yay, AO is back! I missed this place.

not fully it still has its kinks... but what will happen if the owners of AO cant repair the damage from the hackers?
