People that do this are just jealous of the success of AO. Well I'm glad things are back to normal! lets enjoy ourselves again XD

I was wordering what had happened to the site. Because it its my homepage I see it all the time but yesterday when I opened up the net, I was a hacking site. Anyway, Hope everything gets back to normal and good luck for restoring it all.

yay AO is back, i was spending two days swinging my baseball bat around and if it didnt come on today i was gina sign up and go crazy at that sight that it kept redrecting me to

And doing that would only bring their ire, and would only cause more problems for AO in the future. That and I'd permanently ban you for compromising both AO's security and its reputation, Both of which should be paramount for every upstanding member of AO.

Not just that... but clearly, thats what they were aiming for ... more members to they're stinky site. Had you signed up you'd just been giving then another member that they could do what they please with (ban you at the mention of AO) Even if you had signed up to defend us... you'd just make their member count higher. Their heads a little bigger. And you'd reassure them that their idea to hack sites in order to basically steal their members....... works.

They knew they could, and that there was a strong possibility that a member of a site, interested in anime would also likely be interested in gaming (and cheating) and whatever else their site offered... Long story short... its the members they wanted. at least... Im pretty sure thats what they were after.

I think enough has been said on this. We should try and move on and find ways to improve AO and foster its continued success. Closing thread.
