Favourite Threads allowed with an explanation

We are trialling the re-introduction of favourite threads. You can now ask about other's favourites, however you MUST EXPLAIN WHY IT'S YOUR FAVOURITE!

Simply posting a name/title and declaring it's your favourite is nothing more than a list post. List posts are still not allowed. That is, posts that comprise of no explanation as to why you chose a certain favourite.

I admit it takes a lot of "hope" to re-instate those types of threads and if history proves true...it won't last long...but there is always that chance it works out...I just hope it works for you better then it has in the past.

i agree becuase i fell into alot of thread like that becuase i didnt realsie it
till it was to late i still make that noobish mistake sometime's but i will use explanations from now on no problem

Watch out people, the new rule is strict. If I see crap or crap disguised as meanigful posts it will eat my pain.

Don't overdo it willya? I already see three or four new favorite threads on your name.

You're lucky this decision isn't only up to me...

It's a good idea - I've always liked favourite threads with explanations. I just hope people will stick to the rules. It'll induce more posts, but the Mods'll be working overtime. We really appreciate this though! ^_^

Yes there is still a limit to how many favorite threads a person is allowed to make a day sin't there?

I'm not to worried about our current members posting to list threads it's the newer members that im afraid is going to cause the trouble from not reading ao's rules.

Well, actually do we need a rule for everything? Use commonsense. If you can post quality threads, then go for it!
