Inappropriate Behavior in the Clans

It just recently came to our attention that there has been some inappropriate activities going on in our Clan system.

As I have stated before about visitor comments on user profiles, the same goes for the clans. They are visible to all members, the pubic, and non clan members alike. And as such, the content posted in the clans reflects on the site reputation.

The clans are governed by all site rules, and all members are expected to follow those rules. Those caught violating site rules will be dealt with as they would be if they did so on the main forum.

Since there are so many clans, it literally is impossible for the staff to police everything. There are thousands of members, and only 19 staff, so things will be missed.

This site maintains order because we get help from users who report rules being broken so we can take care of the issues.

So, we're asking that if you see something going on in the Clans, please report it as soon as possible so the issue can be resolved.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. I totally clicked on a link to someones clan and it was very perverted, I thought they were allowed to do anything in clans. Thanks for clearing that up. Wait, I saw that in a social group, is a clan the same thing as a social group?

If anyone notices bad behavior in a clan also know as "User-Created Social Group" then the posts as well as the images have a report feature. Please use it.

Clans are now the same as social groups. Before when we had clans they were two different things, but now since the removal of clans we have implemented social groups to take their place. As you can see from GallComp's link I have now added rules specific to Clans/Social Groups that should prevent future issues.

Perhaps changing "Social Groups" to "Clans" would remedy confusion trunks?

Naw, that'd require the changing of server files as well as a complete re-write of the FAQ sections that relate to Social Groups. A little too extreme just to change 1 word.

There's too many stuff in the rules anyways, it shouldn't take a lot of common sense to do something.

That's like some newb asking if he or she can double post in every thread.
