Social Bookmarking Icons

Just to let everyone know, we have now implemented a great new feature - Social Bookmarking Icons at the below of each thread!

Including:

Digg
Technorati
del.ici.ous
and FURL

This is a method for storing, sharing, and discovering web bookmarks.

Hope everyone likes this new feature. Let me know if you need further explanation.

Just a minute ago, I was wondering what they were. I thought I was just imagining things. ^_^ Anyways. ~!!!!! I am not a pro when it comes to things dealing with computers and internet, so can you offer a little further explanation as to how and what they are used for, Spdude-sami? ^_^ They look really neat!!!

There are quite a number of social bookmarking web service for storing, sharing, and discovering web bookmarks. The most popular ones are:

Digg
Technorati
del.ici.ous
and FURL

You can click on the respective icons at the bottom of each thread to be taken to their websites. If you are a member of these sites, then you can bookmark your favourite resources and access these from where you may be in the world.

- Keep all your bookmarks together and access them from home, office, anywhere.
- Share your bookmarks with family, friends, and colleagues.
- Discover new sites from other communities (browse, find, get recommendations).

It's all a little new to me too, but seems a popular trend. Let's see how it goes and if you would like to keep it at Anime Online.

Yeh, let's see how it goes and if members like it. Can always disable it later if no-one uses it. May post a poll in about a months time to see if anyone likes this functionality.

I'd like an explanation for each individual button......for us slower types. If I know each of the buttons, I'll use them more.

All the icons operate in the same manner. Which one you click on will depend on which of the services you currently use. It's just a way of adding the post to your own personal bookmarks and sharing it with others.

Clicking on each icon will take you to the respective site where it's explained.
