Some of you are overusing the "thanks" fuction.
It is not designed to be used EVERY SINGLE TIME someone posts in your thread. People continuing to use it that way will lead to regulation of the function (and a headache for the moderation staff).
Please do not misuse the function!
You should thank users ONLY if their post has been useful or helpful to you, personally. Please do not give "thanks" to every single respondant in one of your threads!

I know what you mean there's people who their "thanks" exceeded the fourty!

Wow, big surprise...I still don't completely grasp the point of the thanks system. If I wanted to thank someone for not being a bland, incompetent poster, I'd chat with them in PM or quote them in my post. I suppose it's useful if you're trying to cut down on the number of posts where the user is like:
"I agree with you 100% percent on that."
and then they proceed not to really contribute to the topic at all. Then I guess it makes sense. It's hard not to do sometimes, I'm sure I've done it.
