Wallpaper of the Week

Hello All,

Am just going thru SOTW, and timmy t suggested about having a Wallpaper of the Week. Would members be interested in this? If so, I could run it in the same manner as SOTW.

Let me know if you think this is a good idea.

Sounds like alot of fun and should prove to be a hard type of contest seeing as wallpapers are huge ^_^

It doesn' really matter ta me either way, it'd probably b good for some. Any work I do, I don' do it for any kinda recognition; but not everyone's like me. So I don' mind either way.

We could try rotating SOTW and WOTW. One week for SOTW and one week for WOTW.

I think this works out better, because you can't really go creating a wallpaper every week, cause it's just way too big and it's a really tall order.

EDIT 2// Yea, the other people are probably right in saying that WOTM is probably better than what I suggested. I mean, it would be kinda confusing.

i love this idea though i think we should do one every week along with sif og the week some sig of weeks are too hard for me they should be chnages like it would be a rule says the wotw and sotw cant be the same thing{i cant do gundams its too hard for me}if u cant make one everyweek thats your problem give other people a chance to win but thats what i think

yea wall papers are huge and to make something decent it takes more than a week.. how about instead of week we have them every month.. like Wallpaper of the month type thing like we have for the poems.. that way we can get some serious competition and some great entries..

just a thought.

I think it is a great idea...WOTW was done while jaderabbit was around, and at that time we had a lot of great wallers. As a result I found myself checking out the anime wallpaper section in the gallery a lot more than I do now. WOTW is not hard, I have seen it done before...

i think that a bi-weekly competition would be a little confusing to the members and a little frustrating to organize... so i think that a WOTM would be more fitting...

i know that a lot of the SOTW people would want to participate, but the sigs they make for the competition takes them a few days. add on to that, quite of few of the contestants are on the Grafix team here on AO. so, i think a WOTM would give them more time to live their daily lives, their Grafix lives, and SOTW lives while still being able to participate in the WOTM...

Yeah i agree a wallpaper of the month is a way better idea. If we have one every week ppl will rush, and will have crappy wallpapers.

I understand that a week is too little but a month? It's already too much... maybe it should be WO2W- wallpaper of two weeks? ^^ lol I know it doesn't sound that good... but this is my idea about the time- two weeks?
If we have a month then people could change theri entried like five times (I know I would)!!! As well as it would be really stressfull to wait for a month to find out whether you did good...
