Thread: Bondocks anime or not

lol, yeah its been decides its not anime., but still it does have very anime styled fight sequences., they are fairly close. i like the animation., as well as Ep.4 on teh nigga moment., .

the boondocks is funny. it is racist though. . . .anyway i really dont think that it's anime. a real funny show though

I think that most of the series is something very similair to anime, but not quite hitting the mark. I do, on the other hand, think that the scene with the blind swordsman chopping a bunch of ninjas apart in the "nigga moment" episode can't be anything other than anime (it's too cool not to be).

it is animated but not what we consider anime. anime has a certain artistic style. boondocks has some similariteies but to me... american cartoon all the way

is it racist if one race comments about itsself?., i dont find it racist at all., its more of a refelcting on ones culture i think.,(if that may sound harsh or anything, i mean no harm)

I have to watch a show first to determine if it's anime or not. I've seen Boondocks before, ever week I see it. It's a great show, but it's not anime. You can just tell my the style of animation and the character design.
