I'm usually just like

"I'm sorry but I don't have feelings for you."
I try to keep it pretty simple. I will usually feel really bad and probably still talk to them, or talk to them more if I didn't before. I know that sometimes that can be mistaken as false hope, but I feel bad to never talk to them after. And who knows. You might get to know them better and end up liking them anyways.

well u should know almost any no answer is gonna get a negitive responce back unless its a "later" like well maybe later but i would just tell them straight up "sorry but i can't" if they were about to cry then well i don't know i would be gone b4 then.

i think is harder for guys than for girls.... girls get confesed up on more than they do the confesing.... (my oppinion) ... a guy may be caught more of guard i think, us girls tend to be more sensitive, and are more in tune to the fact that a guy likes us...so in a way i kind of know when the situation is about to come up. I usually hold his hands after his confession or hug him then i would say something along the lines of.... wow.... (insert name) i never knew you felt that way, i am so surprise you feel that way about me, i mean a great guy like you, some one with such great sense of humor (or some one as smart as you or some other atribute here) is incredible... but the truth is that what i like the most about you is our frienship, and i dont think i am ready to take it further than that, i mean you are a great friend, and i would never want to loose you, but for now that is all i can offer you....my frienship.
