Pen or the Sword

They say the pen is mightyer then the sword.But now a days is it really?What they mean by that is the abillty to discuss your problems reather then to lead to violence.What do you belive the countries of the world think is more powerful the pen or the sword?

I think the pen is more powerful most of the time. What you say and how you say it can change how everything goes very easily. I think words have more power then violence. Physical wounds will heal over time usually but emotional wounds can last a lifetime.

As for countries, I think it depends on the problem for them and the personality of the leader. If the leader is very liberal then they would most likely avoid a violent action at all cost except if there was an attack that caused many lives to be sacrificed. But if the leader is more forceful and has a bad attitude then he would probably choose more violent methods much more quickly.

i would say most of the time the pen would be easyer the the sword but some time you would have to fight to prove or what ever you where doing to get it. i would try not to fight but if there is no other way i will use the sword than keep trying talking to them

Yeah the pen method can solve many conflicts in a peaceful way.

As for pen or sword i would have to say as a overall point of view the sword would have more power, but what is is power really?
