Not only was Alucard somewhat weakened by sunlight. Vampire Hunter D was as well in Blood Lust.

Okay, a half-human, half-vampire is called a Dhampir (it's only pronounced "Dunpeal"). Blade is not a Dhampir. D is. Blade is a mutation. No more, no less.
"Nosferatu" is just a word that was invented because some guy wanted to make a vampire movie, but he couldn't because he couldn't get his hands on the rights to Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Prolonged exposure to the sun just causes a sort of heat stroke in a Dhampir. D isn't weakened by it at all. The longer he is under, the higher chances that he'll get sick. But sunlight is not a Dhampir's kryptonite.

It's funny. I do that on a daily basis. I consider it a weakness until I can get over it without any probs. You know the saying, pain is weakness leaving the body.
