What are the points for?

Sorry, I've been gone for a while, and when I came back, I realized that I had about 129 points. I have no idea what these points are for. I'm probably missing a very obvious thread somewhere that explains it, but can someone help me out?

Its a new feature of AO. U can use those pts to purchase stuff I beleive. I'm a little iffy on the whole thing coz their wasn't much information given. I suggest looking up the 'Annoucement section' for a quick insight.
