Alone we walk,
alone we die
while we are alive.
The people we know as friends,
and there are the people we know as enemies.
Alone in the cold world,
there are places that seem so empty.
Why do our human hearts seem so hollow?
Either we are alive or we are dead.
Do they only remember us because they knew us,
or is it because of our headstones stating we were alive
at one point and time and that we have passed on.
We the ones who are
forsaken in this world,
are not really forgotten.
The ones who knew our dreams
can carry them out. Evan though
we have died, we can still walk
among them in their hearts
and in their dreams ....
