 Credits: 110,749 | Another Year At the end of last year, I had to face tragedy. So I vowed that 2K7 wouldn't be so bad to me. I tried to make some changes, I tried to make things right. But when I got closer to my goal, it moved further out of sight. Persistently, I carry on. Dressing my old wounds. Hiding my true feelings and acting like a buffoon. Now the stress has piled up, my walls are caving in. My feelings begin to slightly break the dam I built within. The end of the year is near and still, my goal is out of reach. I feel my thoughts drain my energy like a big leech. The one year anniversary of my heart's demise. Another year of being seen, but no one hears my cries. The one year anniversary of the worst day of my life. But worry not, it doesn't hurt unless you twist the knife... Happy New Year... |
