There was a chilling sensation about,
The moon was out,
And the night beckoned drawn out calls.
With a tune from the moon
And the star signs gold
There was little left but our souls.
We danced all through the dark lit day
This travesty of blight,
We couldn’t say-
What we had then
May or may not be our flight.
Though we flew like birds with crystal wings
Ours faces bright with joyful sing,
This sin we faced was pure and bold
No god nor entity could behold..
Truth was set that very night
With our thoughts like distant kites
Where we toasted to the sky,
The moon and the night,
For we dined in the midst
Of cold and fright.
