blame the gunman?

wasn't sure what to call this...

Sensless slayings
And whos to blame
Should we hate the shooter
Or the ones who turned their face

Teachers, advisors, acquaintances all say
There were signs to be seen
But they looked away

Stories about death an hate
But, of course, that was just a creative attempt
Social outcast with issues
But not considered a threat?

Right ...

Thats why they were screaming and crying
Running for their lives
All because advisors
Couldnt see it in his eyes

Blood lust and insanity
So twisted and violent
Taking children from their families
But where were the authorities??

hummm I'm not sure if I should leave this poem like this or change it up or add a different ending I'd like too see your suggestions
