Bucky's Reel Life Haikus: Harry Brown
Before I begin, I'd like to introduce myself. Nobody really visits the "Introduce Yourself" section nowadays, so why bother with that formality. Anyways, I go by BuckTurgidson on the Interwebs, but feel free to call me Bucky for convenience.
I normally don't write poetry. Frankly, I'm too uninspired to write epic ballads, sonnets a la Shakespeare, and yes, even freaking free verse. What I can do, however, is watch films and comment on them afterwards.
Not wanting to waste words, I've finally decided on a form that suits my personal proclivities: the haiku. It wastes no words, and leaves everything left unsaid to the imagination of the reader.
That said, I'd like to debut with this baby regarding a geriatric vigilante: one Harry Brown, played by Michael Caine. If you haven't seen it yet, I suggest you do.
