Thread: Change!

The winds of change blow , the cry for something
that has yet to be grows ever stronger urging haste
to those who might tred slowly thinking time is of no
consequence. Only when its to late do they wish for
time be on there side.


How lonely is that path they take , pushing everyone
and everything aside thinking its so hopless as they do.
What they think is the right thing , always lingering wanting
to keep the path dark so they can live there shell of a life.
Thinking that the darkness will keep them safe.


As they lay there in there bed looking to the ceiling , staring
off into the nothingness of that still night , the fan rumbling
making them nod from the soft hipnotic noise it makes. A tear
roll's down there cheek to the pillow as they muffle there scream,
angry at what has become a living hell.


The winds of change no one can really fight it , but they can never
give up either or they will slip through the cracks of indeference and
never find the lighted path that is at the end of the path less traveld.
The darkness it is soothing yet poisoness to the soul , the light it is
pure yet it makes you ignorant of the truth which is better ?

this poem is about recognising when to accept the change in your life and
when to fight it some pick the wrong reasons and end up loosing more
than gaining it. and i think you can fight the change but it takes knowing
how to deal with it that makes it truly a loosing battle or a triumphent
defeat.
