Ever since I could remember
you've been the guy
who people loved to hate
But now something's happened
Something's changed
deep inside you
Something I didn't know
that would happen to you
Like I said I didn't know it
was possible for you
but you managed to surprise
even me.
You actually cared so much
for someone that you
took them in when that person
was kicked out of the one
place they called home and shared
your own.
The fact that surprised me was
that you give up something that
was so precious to you
to help this one person
even if it meant giving up your
social life.
I am amazed at how
much you changed
and I have to say
is I'm proud
and happy for you.
You didn't care much
for people
in fact you were a stubborn
arse.
But now you've changed
into something completly
unexpected Dom
and for this
I'm happy.

Indeed a nice poem and I'm glad to hear that people are changing.Indeed people can change and that'll make this world a better place.
I enjoyed reading this poem- it's really good, there was nothing I wouldn't like, it was interesting and easy to read it. Good work.
Yeah thanx for the comments. And after I worte this I felt really sick. This has to be the very first mushy poem I wrote and to tell you the truth I don't know what made me write this. I think I'll stick with writing sad and depressing poems and may through in some morbid or slightly humorous ones but not mushy poems or love poems...or else I might hurl all over the place..>_<
