My legs ach for the rush of running among the giants My feet hurt for the feel of the close leafy feel of the forest below My heart pains me to think of the open moor and the sloping hills The rivers, the streams, the ponds thinking of the beloved Earth before we were here How we soiled her so... My head hurts from the exaust fumes, the smell of the city will we ever stop the pain we are doing to our selves and our mother Mother Earth's children Cry out when the trees are comming down when the oil drills ruthlesly bore into the earth, steeling mother Earth's BLOOD. My heart hurts for her My heart hurts for the forest my heart hurts for the animals But most of all my Heart Burns with the pain of thinking of what we passed up and are doing to our selves |
