On a blue lit canvass, they float by.
Together in the same big sky.
Its like they're dancing just for me.
A mountain of cotton, or marshmellow sea.

Sunset turns them into shades of violet-blue and pink.
With its rise, they smear like yellow paint, blotched with crimson ink.

So many sizes so many shapes.
Looks like a ballon, or bundle of grapes.
Sometimes they puff like popcorn balls skattered above my head.
Other times they spread out smooth, like pillows and a bed.

Each one that passes, represents a minute that has past.
How time goes by, looking in the sky. As I lay here in the grass.

A great poem!!! It's just what I'm thinking about all the time.. to lie in the grass and watch the clouds go by would be sooo nice...
