Some of this is from an old poem I wrote and some is new...hope you all like it ^-^


The tree branches sway over, naked of color and
leaves, like charcoal from an old memory in my
mind.

Wind blows, bittery cold,
the sky not really gray but not blue enough to be a summer
day.

A voice sits on the edge of my tounge, a
voice I have never heard, a voice
destined never to speak a word.

The winter air sinks through my skin,
your warmth calls to me.

Hands lost, eyes scan the dark for a slight
glimpse of the other, heartbeats race silently.

I've found the daybreak lingering in your
pulse, and I've tasted the sugar leaking
from your lips.

The morning bursts through my window
shades, casting a silohoutte across my
sleeping face.

Ah... This is so reminiscent of waking next to someone you're in love with. Such a beautiful feeling.... that I can't even be bitter at the fact that Its been so long since I've had that pleasure.

I know how you feel...my love is away at college...it's been very hard without him. I'm learning to deal though...thats all you can do.
