Thread: Dance of destruction in the dark of night

The moon overhead becomes full,
A man endures a fate so cruel.
Muscle and bone bend in agony’s throe.
A dogs claws and wolf fur wicked fast grow.
His canine iris seems to almost glow.

Through brush it sees a gentleman walk.
As all animals it starts to stalk.
Bounding fast the werewolf will bite and cut.
Wet sounds mark ripping open of a gut.

With nails now long and very sharp
The attack he quickly deflects.
A cape flutters, large like a tarp.
A pair of razor teeth ejects.

Gashed open the werewolf is on fire.
Too bad he chose to prey on a vampire.
Mouth open, claws ready to tear,
With all energy it makes a pounce.
But you can’t touch what takes to air,
And flit’s as though it weighs not an ounce.

Night air stirs with a howl of pain.
His suit is covered in red stain.
A huge hole is in the writhing wolf’s left breast.
The victor holds the heart he tore from its chest.
From pockets he produces a silver pen.
Ramming it in beating muscle it ends then.
