Dark and Broken Heart

Take my hand, And lead the way
Take my smile, I don't think I can ever again
Take my heart, It's falling apart
Take my soul, There is nothing left to hold!...

I'm hollow on the inside, Nothin left inside but the lonelyness
I'm broken into pieces, I'm all broken apart on the inside and out
I'm frozen on the inside, No warmth can get through to my poor broken heart
I'm so tired of it all, I'm just wishing for the end to come and claim me!...

"Waiting for the end"

I'm sick and tired of being here, Can't I just rest in peace?
Never alone, Always surround by them all
I'm sick of them, Can't they just leave me be?!
I wanna be alone but those fools don't seem to get it, I'm messed up in the head and worse...i'm broken into!...

"Sick and tired of everything"

Give me some relief of it all, Can I just have a bit of space?
A place to call me own, Where no one may enter but me
Somewhere that I can let all my pain and sorrow out, Someplace safe like the darkness
Darkness is where I feel safe, In the dark is where i'll stay!...

I can't take it anymore, I can't stand it all no more
I'm gonna scream till I lose my hearing, And listen to the ringing
I hold my head and let it all out, One by one the tears begin to fall

That was a very dark song. It was directly to the point of how most people feel about how they seem to never have the chance to be alone and how everytime they try someone is always there. I've felt like that sometimes. Great job sis and I look forward to reading your next one.

I like the tone of this song.a bit different from the last one.of course with the dark mood,it is very special.I admire the use of repetition as well.Reaches its meaning to us more easily.

I love this... It's dark which almost made me fall head over heals over it. LOL

I love your wording too. Only thing is, I don't like reading lyrics as much as I do poems. I just don't know the beat. ^_^ But it's still an awesome write.
