Darkness rumbles in the air,
Thunder and lightning raise my hair,
I can see creatures fleeing in terror,
As I sit alone, watching, waiting,
For Darkness to rise again

The day has passed beyond our power.
The petals close upon the flower.
The light is failing in this hour
Of days last fading breath.

The blackness of the night surrounds
The distant souls of stars now found,
Far from this world to which we are bound,
Of sorrow, fear, and death.

A deep, deep darkness sweeps through the land.
It draws away the air.
Howling, growling, screeching terror;
Bringing death and despair.
As Darkness rises again.

The gathering Darkness takes our souls,
Embracing us in chilling folds,
Deep within the heart-clenching holds.
Our fates lie far from home.

Dream, forces of the Darkness above
And feel the victory of
Darkness, the dark, despairing Darkness.
Her power will rule all universes.

They close my eyes, their minds at rest,
They give themselves over to her requests,
Their weaknesses to her will be confessed,
They will bend and worship her,
And I will be left alone.

The strength of silence fills the sky,
Its depths become beyond you or I.
Into its depths our souls will fly,
Forever vanishing.
Where it goes no one knows,
But there all fears and sorrows end.
