The day She wakes...
The day she wakes and opens her eyes,
The opens her wings and attempts to fly.
She lifts her head to utter a song,
but tears roll down her cheeks do you ever wonder what's wrong.
The world she once loved, now has changed;
All her loved ones now turn away.
She sees a familiar face she loved,
He now stands unmoving in the middle of the chaos.
Her song turns to sorrow, her head bowed down;
Her eyes turned away, and hands holding her gown.
While the melody rises, her head lifts up high.
Singing and reminding what was lost can still be found.

Re: The day She wakes...
This was awesome. I loved the last stanza in particular. The only problem is the second line of the first stanza is very weird. "The opens her wings" doesn't make much sense. But than again it doesn't necessarily have to.
