Dazed and Confused

Off in the distance in your own world,
What you have kept hidden,
People see but yet you still hide,

They see you searching, watching,
Your searching for answers everywhere you go,
But yet you still haven't found what your looking for.

Now looking for a way to close old wounds,
That are not yet healed, no matter what
You do or try they stay resistant to change.

You wonder why, as you try many things,
But yet they are still resistant to closing,
All you can see is blame deep within,

Though your heart may be filled
with sadness, You still have the ability to
make others around you happy.

You have many tears that have been
Hidden for many years, and yet they
Are finally being shown.

Although you forget, that there is
someone that cares
about you and how you feel,

No matter what you do, or how
Hard you try, you can't block
The Pain you feel from them.

The one you're meant for still
Sees through your shield,
That you have put up to hide all.

Although they see through you keep blocking,
Blocking a darkness that seems to seep through
They notice and try to change.

With all you have been through, they see and help,
Yet you try to hide, hide what you don’t know, but
Yet you can’t because they already know.

They know what you don’t, and eventually clear the
Darkness from you, now with all darkness gone,
The only thing that remains is the light of a new Journey.
