    "Death is a Promise"

    Death is but a promise
    made to us at birth.
    Death is but our future
    planned from the start.
    Then why is it
    people want to live?
    Then why is it
    people fear death?
    We are taught young
    all things die.
    We are taught young
    nothing lives forever.
    Death is but a promise
    we know will be full filled.
    Death is but our future,
    drawing ever closer.

    we try and run?

    there is why and i can say its the fear of the
    unknown we want to live forever because all
    we know is life death is something you dont know
    about till you die and that scares people .

    I liked how expressed this poem Star. It's a real good poem.

    And most of the poem is quite true. From the day you are born, you are already dying. I quite like that. Good job on you Star. Hope to see some more of your poem work ^^
