colors splatter like a wild man's paint
On two
colors tossed like a fairy's rush

They meet
in hesitation
in connection
in melding

Colors swirl
passed one another
around one another

They are at a distance
The tips touch
But never hold

It's enough


Two
Spirals infinitely into the sky
Exploding into colors of wonder and grandeur

Spirals with then stops
Admiring the colors that light the sky

Reaches out
Just to feel the tip again

Two
Never reaches out
Looks strangely at the hesitant

Reaches out
Just to feel the tip again

Swallows the colors
Spirals once more

Reaches out...
Just to feel... the tip... just one more time...

So far away
Spiraling and coloring

One
Pulls away
Colors becoming still and faded


Colors light up the sky
While a faded light floats softly to the ground
Where darkness takes and gives

An odd shape trundles by
With only one solid color
But light that shines so bright

It pokes
It prods
And it stays

Yet the faded colors continue to stay
Saved from darkness
Yet willing to be overcome

With a push
The colors are lifted
And held
As the odd shape trundles away

Away from the colors in the sky
With the darkness below that was left behind

The shape refuses the darkness
Protecting the faded colors that slowly grow bright

Yet as it is carried away
The colors in the sky swirl in fury
It reaches back...

Far away.
The colors dim...
