Your back again my demon friend,
Telling me my life should end,
"COME ON"you say "DON'T BE WEAK,
TAKE THE BLADE AND PUSH IT DEEP".
What about all those who care,
Don't you think thats quite unfair?
"DON'T BE NAIVE YOU STUPID SOUL,
IF THEY CARE SO MUCH WHERE ARE THEY NOW,
NO-ONE REALLY WANTS YOU HERE
THEY WON'T EVEN SHED A TEAR,
YOU REALLY DON'T HAVE ANY CHOICE,
COME ON BEFORE I RAISE MY VOICE".
You really think its for the best?
"JUST TRUST ME YOU COULD USE THE REST,
NO-ONE WANTS YOU MOPPING AROUND,
YOU DRIVE THEM MAD YOU BRING THEM DOWN,
THEY'LL BE GLAD WHEN YOU ARE GONE,
SO WHAT'S THE POINT OF HANGING ON"?
"TRUST ME I'M YOUR ONLY FRIEND,
I'LL BE THERE TILL THE VERY END".
This is a great poem, I read it with great interest... You really cought my attention... It's a wonderful work You've done here!
It's really interesting... made me smile somewhere and be sad somewhere else... the dialogue between the lyrical me and it's demon was really intense and I admire the fact that you've cought the feelings of the moment in this poem...
