Hi. I am new to this forum and must say I really enjoy reading all of the talented poems and short letters that some of the members post here. I look forward to reading more as I interact on AO.
Reading all of this stuff make me wonder, has anyone ever thought about making an AO anthology that includes everyones poems and stories. It'd be really cool to see some of our stuff in actual print some day :).
Continue writing as I'll keep reading.
Whenever I see short worded lines and stanzas like that above i imagine that the writer wishes for it to be read, or spoken, at a faster pace. Doing so i found myself stumbling on the words. There are tools that are allowed to use by poets, but not generally used. I'm of course talking about comas, ...'s, semi-colins, and all those other fun things. Using them to split up words and slowing down the reader is nice.
