Dreams

I can soar over the highest cloud,
Swim in the deepest sea-
I can have superpowers,
Or I could just be me.

In my dreams I can do anything,
Whether it be big or small.
In my dreams I can do nothing,
In my dreams I can do all.

And in my dreams you’re always there,
Right along beside me-
And whenever I need any help,
You’re always there to guide me.

But that is in my dreams,
So that’s how you’ll never be.
But no matter what you do,
You’re always a hero to me.

i really just got into poems these past couple of days, but this past year at school when we did poetry, all mine were so horrible, i'm surpised that i didnt flunk that unit

^ I really liked this passage.

^those 2 would be my favorite stanzas of this poem, it all sounded really great and that was a pretty bitter twist in the 2nd in that last verse
