Dreams
Beyond the slightest of truths,
Forever flying above the limitless space.
Caring to see every minute detail,
Cherishing the light hidden by the darkness.
Living out what our imagination can show,
Leaning upon it as a solid oak staff to make the next step forward.
Laughing and crying out what matters most,
Accepting that sometimes life is as it is.
Guiding yourself through various experiences,
Hailing what counts most of all.
Who other than yourself to realise your own dreams,
Those in which hope resounds strongest of all…
The movie Paprika, directed by the one who made Millenium actress and also Perfect blue, is probably the most comprehensible movie he has made of yet. His name is Satoshi Kon, and I will always be awaiting his next creation that shows a new light on what we all live through every day that passes by through some form of cinema with so many hidden layers hidden beneath. I thank him greatly for his work so far.

Why thankyou Akura13, though I would be curious to know how you relate to this exactly? Would it be based off the fact that your dreams make you realise something while you sleep or more like dreams that you have in real life for the futur? I'd be curious to know what :P
Mostly like dreams make me relize what I've been doing is wrong or something like that. Like if I have a problem, when ever I go to sleep, dreams help me relize what I'm doing wrong! Thats mostly how I can relate. And my life is so messed up, but when I go to sleep it's like all that goes away and I'm happy again~!^^
Bravo Soldat of Life! Not that expected anything less from you since you are the one who constantly pushes me to excel! Your poem presents a powerful image in my mind. One that demands my attention! If this piece was inspired by the anime movie Paprika then he has just added another fan to his works. I know that you poem is not part of the movie, but as I'm watching it I will have this poem in mind! I'm saving this one! You truly are a genius!![]()

I am honored to have offered such imagery in your mind (bluefox1) and something to relate to (Akura13). I guess I haven't lost my touch even if I have been working in a boring job for the past 10 months or so where the youngest person who works with me is 46 years old. But seriously, I feel that I don't write as often as I used to. This poem shows that I need intense emotions or something that interests me greatly to motivate my creativity. Thus, if I would be working in a passionate job, AO would probably be rained upon by my poetry.
If ever someone has a suggestion of an anime or movie that has greatly touched them and that is fairly recent (cause I keep quite up to date in things), I would be happy to watch them and be inspired. Though I ask that you send your suggestions by PM so it does not spam this forum. Well then, off to boring work and taking out tons of garbage and cleaning after drunken people........
