Dreams or Reality

In a world that's untouchable
A world that only exists when we close our eyes
Do we believe what we see and let it choose our way of life?
If someone came to you in a dream
Would you leave the one that's alive for someone who's dead?

A world of splendera world to escape to when needed
Some where you can hide from a world of hurt and betrayal
Do we believe what we dream hoping it will come true
Choosing to live in a dream when you could live in reality
with the one you love

Is it really so hard to chose
Leave the world of dreams behind
Leave your past in the past
Face the world head on
Live it to the fullest

Deams are not everything
Although it shows you sometimes your hearts desire
What if they are not possible
What should you do?

Give up and live in your dreams?


I think it's badly written...what do you guys think?

I like these types of poems and you did a wonderful job on in it in my personal opinion! The only thing I see wrong with the poem are spelling mistakes. For example:

"Choosing to live in a dream when you cluld live in reality": change cluld to could.

In this line "Although it shows you sometmes your hearts desire": change sometmes to sometimes.

Also correct this line "Leave your past int the past": just change int to in.

Overall a very good poem and I hope to see more of these from you in the future Ky-lyrra! Keep up the good work!:thumb:

Thanks Blue I needed that pick me up. I thought I did a crappy job on it but was proven wrong I guess. Another Poem to add to my list.

Really good poem, Ky-lyrra! Very nice message you're putting out to the public. Should we let our dreams control our reality?? I don't know.... Only if you would edit "excape" in the first line, second stanza >.< Other than that...great poem! I'd like to see more work from you! :thumb:

it made me think, though i do live in this reality the dreams show my hearts desire. im not with the one i love, in fact im not with anyone. but i know that the dreams are dreams, some are possible while others are not. this poem shows deep emotion, great wording. i hope that you keep this up cause i want to see more.
