Last night I was chillin' wit my homeboy Dre.
Dreski, is what we call him, when were all at play.
Whenever we hang, its no forgetable day.
And there werent any drugs or alcohol in use.
Because he lives with Rob, whos a sober recluse.
And Rob don't like anyone but me, Dre and Nate.
Its not really the people, just their vibes that he hates.
Rob and Dre told me something that made me laugh 'till I cried.
They said a "girl" was callin' 'em, and they were wondering why.
I said "She's sick of her new man. Won't take the old one back (yet)."
Rob said... "I hope shes not trying to see how far she can get!"
Girls are so funny when they put themselves out...
... I know, I'm a girl... But I really dont count.
We watched Ergo Proxy, talked some more... then we ate.
There was a knock on the door, Surprise! Its Nate!
When Nate started talkin' it wasnt quite clear.
Come to find out, in Nates trunk, there was beer!
Since Rob didn't want us to be drinkin' inside.
We all just sat out and got drunk by Nates ride.
Theres much more to be told, but heres where the poem ends.

It's silly that you make assumptions about me like that. I've simply been in the city and wondering how they've been. Didn't want to hang out or anything. Just seeing how they were. I'm happy with jeremy, not my living situation. I am unhappy with my family situation. Not Jeremy. So thanks for putting words in my mouth but you really shouldn't speak about what you don't know.

I would re-think who the silly one making assumptions is. Infact I never made an assumption at all. I was told a fact by Rob, one which pertains to more than one girl. And since you're so graciously putting yourself out there, Im also getting way too much information from you.
So please, stick to feedback if your gonna comment on my poetry.
