Thread: Drowning were I stand!

I find myself standing here alone and afraid,
Evreyone rushing to were they belong,
Not seeing the water rising over the curb.

Its amazing to see them going here and ther,
Splashing through the ever creeping water,
And still I stand watching but never moving.

Fear starts to grip me as it crawls up my leg,
But no-one seems to care that I am screaming,
The cold is starting to cause me to shake.

A young women looks but turns in disgust,
Why sould she help someone unknown to her,
I want to call-out but no word come from me.

The water rushes up over my shoulders,
I feel a deadly chill enter my lungs as I breath,
Yet the passers-by seem to be oblivios to it all.

My tear mingle in the water as it washes over my eyes,
I try to fight but it is to late my body has failed me,
The sun begins to fade and the world shift to blue.

I traped in a current pulling me down deeper,
Reaching with all my might to the last rays of light,
Then blackness my world is no more.

All of a sudden I rise in to the blazing sun,
Warmth washes over me giving me life,
I soon realize it is not the sun but that women.

"Why did you save me, why not let me go?"

"Because you needed me."
