Thread: Eccentricity of love

I hate you because I fell
Fell into what seems now like hell
but then was what I believe to be love...

But when push comes to shove,
It's hard to pretend
That this isn't the end...

I yell with my eyes spread manically,
Reflecting all the evil and obscurity that dwells within me,
I yell with my arms wide and with a devious grin,
My voice shrieking, piercing my own spine

I HATE love, I despise everything in it,
All the warmth and smiles I see around me
I hate it with all my heart and consciousness
There is nothing, nothing at all to see

All the smiles, the joy, the laughter
It SICKENS me, I can barely BREATHE
I detest those promising touches and kisses,
The gruesome thoughts of sweetness’

The thought of someone being in another’s arms
It’s agitating, oh that love
It is so deceiving!

Love is the same as war; the experiences you shared will never be erased
But for some reason unknown, love is still highly praised
Why does that mere … entity rules over all?
For all I know it causes everyone to fall.

But the irony is, for all I see
Is that I think about love, to be free
To live independently, to enjoy what seems to be everything
To feel the warmth again, to experience what used to be nothing.

I want to forget everything; I want to get rid of the burden
So I can fly
I want to lie down on the grass, under the sky
I want to close my eyes, venture off to a place
Where I can live life in a slow, enjoyable pace.
