I will travel the earth.
On a journey of self-discovery.
I will go where the wind takes me.
Drifting along until I find my destiny.
I will keep the fire in my heart ablaze,
for passion is what makes the world go 'round.
I will be like water, and
just go with the flow of life.
Elements...
The foundation of life. They can either
save a man or destroy an entire family.
How one lives on this earth depends
on how one embraces his or her place in it.
So plant your feet in the earth,
follow the wind, keep that fire in your heart
lit, and move with the water's current.

Y'know, I don't even know how I came up with this one, LOL. I was just sittin' here, tryin' not to fall asleep at the computer--I'm so tired--and this great idea just popped in my head. I thought to myself, "when's the last time I wrote something that has nothing to do with love or friendship?" ^_^

very cool poem and i liked how you used the
elements in association with life because thats
pretty much how life is though for my self i only
live with just fire and water since i never stay put
much lol but this poem is really cool .

They're one in the same, I must isolate you...
