Bruised and battered,
Covered by emotion scars.
No longer living a care free life,
Taunted by previous mistakes.
Feeling alone, out of place,
Unsure of what to do.
No where to run to,
Just curling up in hiding.
Searching for support,
The shoulder to cry on.
Not close enough to reach,
Separated by the ocean.
Missing things others have,
Their lovers all close by.
Not having any one to call,
Abandoned by hope itself.
Left her struggling,
Wishing for it to end.
No more smiles appear,
Till we are together again.

This is nice... but it has one really important thing missing- a good ending (ok, this I am saying just to cheer you up ^^ I hope you're smiling and the good ending has come by now and if it hasn't- it will)
Well I liked this poem, nice descriptions- makes one feel sorry, but I must day it has too little action ^^ but don't mind me... I'm tired and shiny
I enjoyed reading this (how much you can enjoy something sad) never the less and I hope to see more...
A long lost love almost, but not quite that... I can relate how when you love someone, but not able to hold, touch, nor see them all you have to rely on is a simple phone call or an letter (e-mail)... It can be rough sometimes & a true test of ones' love...
