Our love was strong as ice was cold my heart sang songs of cheer
i tried so hard to hold her close but never was she there
i drank away my pain and sorrow with whiskey i sang my blues
my heart was heavy my thoughts were thick so i drove home
it wasn't til i saw my body i realized my love turned Eternal!
i cry inside for life anew i die each time im torn in two i live for earth and die for none along comes a god who will always bring peace and tranquility
Interesting. I love the vivid imagery of love and the simile to ice. That was clever as ice is often used with the imagery of heart and love but in an opposite way, it usually symbolises love gone not love growing intense. Again good on the length. The old ones were too long and as a result hard to read.
thank you i know my old ones used to run on forever but i have been away for awhile and i took some time in the great outdoors to relieve my mind now i am back to show the world its softer side
