Everlasting

Eternal

The big rocks by the seaside,
Long asleep in it's slumber.
Whipped by the endless waves.
It will never wake up,
even knowing it will end up as sand.

The trees stood on and grow.
Doing what it is suppose to do.
Supporting lives while keeping it's own.
The leaves that fall down are still of use.
Brownish leaves that will turn into earth.

Shiny and bright sun emits it's light.
Burning itself on and on.
Raying down the shimmering glow of life.
Along with countless stars in the space.
Someday it'll stop it's grace even so,
it shall never fade till it's time.

Even if i will grow old with time.
I will never stop loving you,
and shall stay patient till the day comes.
Not knowing when or how.

I shall engrave and paint,
my feelings for you on this canvas.
As long as this part of me remains,
So will my love for you.

I'll be here no matter what, just for you.

Thx to lasura for helping in making this poem and with the title choosing ^^
totally tired when making this poem..and can't think quite straight...lol ^^

I love this poem! Very unlike you though- so sweet, loving and... everlasting...
I like the thing you're trying to say- nothing is everlasting- the rocks will turn to sand, the sun will stop to shine, the trees will die and we... we will die pretty soon, but love will stay after us and it is the thing that is everlasting. ^^ Understood right?

Anyways, a great work Ray! Different from those I've read before. Hope to see something as good as this in future.
